How is it that there are only 61 viewers but 64 people in the chat? Well there is this really an interesting answer to this. UStream.TV uses IRC for their chat window. One of those non-viewers is the Ustream-Bot. He’s just a piece of software that the show owner can use for kicking people out of the chat or even ban them. The other numbers come from people connecting to the IRC server directly and joining the show’s chat channel. So there you have it, the grand UStream mystory has been revealed and solved.
